Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Formentera's Wilfredo Benvide started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Formentera's goalkeeper Seyhan Atlıhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Belotaurus FC's zone, Wilfredo Benvide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fanis Geronimidis came out of the goal and Wilfredo Benvide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the match, Formentera's goalkeeper Seyhan Atlıhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doni Cordeiro. After 12 minutes Formentera's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rui Cunha who took care of the corner kick. Rui Cunha made a great header on Belotaurus FC's corner, it was just that Formentera's Seyhan Atlıhan managed to reach the ball for a save. After taking down the ball on Belotaurus FC's corner Rui Cunha fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Seyhan Atlıhan quite easily take care of the ball. Seyhan Atlıhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doni Cordeiro in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute Silviu Novac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seyhan Atlıhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evren Yezid got free with Seyhan Atlıhan in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd match minute, Belotaurus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Urre to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Bartuelo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Fanis Geronimidis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Formentera's Jan-Erik Lönn was substituted for Wilfredo Benvide. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evren Yezid stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Seyhan Atlıhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evren Yezid, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Belotaurus FC's Fanis Geronimidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Erik Lönn in the 60th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Fanis Geronimidis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Erik Lönn in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fanis Geronimidis saved Belotaurus FC from getting behind. After 64 minutes of play, Belotaurus FC's Doni Cordeiro made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Seyhan Atlıhan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fanis Geronimidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Erik Lönn, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Seyhan Atlıhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doni Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Jan-Erik Lönn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fanis Geronimidis was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Ariel Libertad was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 72 minutes into the match. Fanis Geronimidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Bartuelo in the 82nd minute of play. Fanis Geronimidis had great luck who in the 83rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Eustaquio Bartuelo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 85th minute Silviu Novac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seyhan Atlıhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silverio Napier kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Formentera's zone, Rui Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Belotaurus FC fully deserved thier win.
