Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Serafino Mogel made the kick off which started today's match. Fred Kariuki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Freddy Sabin made a huge save. Freddy Sabin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fred Rutto went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Freddy Sabin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Kariuki in the 19th minute of the match. If Fred Kariuki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Annscroft's Fred Kariuki was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 37th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Equino FC's Freddy Sabin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Onyii in the 40th minute of play. Fred Kariuki was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 41st minute. Annscroft's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Freddy Sabin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fred Kariuki in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Equino FC's zone, Robert Menza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Sabin came out of the goal and Robert Menza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Freddy Sabin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Kariuki in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Fred Kariuki made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Annscroft's Fred Kariuki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Freddy Sabin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Freddy Sabin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Onyii, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute of the match Annscroft got a corner. Equino FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Haroun Korir ran over to the corner to take the kick. Haroun Korir shot a long shot in the 60th minute and a light blocked Freddy Sabin hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Kariuki in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddy Sabin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Freddy Sabin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred Kariuki's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Equino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Kariuki came free, but Freddy Sabin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freddy Sabin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Kariuki in the 79th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Fred Kariuki sped through Equino FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Freddy Sabin. Freddy Sabin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Kariuki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Fred Kariuki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Freddy Sabin was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Robert Menza hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Robert Menza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Annscroft had played much better football throughout.
