The score was now 1-0. 10 minutes into the game, George Buzoianu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Alexander Manninger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Baia Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Bento Aleixo came free, but Zsigmond Pál reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zsigmond Pál made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stuart Legzdins in the 21st minute of play. Stuart Legzdins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zsigmond Pál didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filipe Silva went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danny Farmer in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zsigmond Pál prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zsigmond Pál took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Aleixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Tărbac kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Zsigmond Pál didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bento Aleixo went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filipe Silva in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zsigmond Pál saved F.C. Baia Mare -MM- from getting behind. In the 47th match minute, F.C. Baia Mare -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iosif Gurlui to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filipe Silva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Steven Black fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Alexander Manninger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iosif Gurlui, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Rupert Brooks received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zsigmond Pál came out and tried to block the shot, but Rupert Brooks slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 89th minute. In the 95th minute Filipe Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zsigmond Pál saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over  ☆冰谷☆Manchester United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than F.C. Baia Mare -MM- throughout the match.
