Spectators: 10300 (Terracing: 7725, Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Belgium's Manuel Campens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Turgut Soyuer in the 3rd minute of play. Manuel Campens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turgut Soyuer in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th match minute, Turkey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Behzat Tanyeli to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Behzat Tanyeli in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Belgium's Joel Wigghers. The corner ended in Leopold Van den Paenhuysen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Turkey's Cankut Wakabayashi did a great save. A sloppy throw-in by Joel Wigghers in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Turkey's Behzat Tanyeli. Cankut Wakabayashi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mbaka Mbolu in the 33rd minute of play. If Mbaka Mbolu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mbaka Mbolu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Cankut Wakabayashi made a huge save. With a little luck, Turkey's Cankut Wakabayashi got control of the ball when Mbaka Mbolu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Turkey's Servet Sönmez got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mbaka Mbolu was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Turkey booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafik Oliwa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 51st minute Turgut Soyuer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Campens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Turkey's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Servet Sönmez in the 53rd minute. After 55 minutes Turkey's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leopold Van den Paenhuysen who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Leopold Van den Paenhuysen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cankut Wakabayashi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hamza Yavaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Cankut Wakabayashi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cankut Wakabayashi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mbaka Mbolu in the 67th minute of the match. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Turkey's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leopold Van den Paenhuysen was slow to take the kick. During this time Belgium's players had a chance to rest. In the 77th minute, Turgut Soyuer made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Campens. Belgium's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Turkey's Cuma Oruk was substituted for Arjen Robben. The throw-in from Armand Steenberghs in the 82nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Turkey's Arman Ersan. After some careless play in the Belgium defense, Zé Dos Reis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Campens. The Belgium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Campens should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute, Hamza Yavaş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manuel Campens came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Turkey's Zé Dos Reis. But to his dismay, Zé Dos Reis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.
