Coolnacon FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Comunardo Genovesi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After having played for 31 minutes, Beolagh Harkin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coolnacon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beolagh Harkin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 34 played minutes DEGHERFORCE got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Bonsignore. The audience was convinced that Comunardo Genovesi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keefe Martyn was relentless in the 39th minute of the game.
