Zulkarnaen Martanegara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burak Paksoy having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Yudha Rahwana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Pinarhisar FK's Seno Mahuse threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yusuf Tüzünalp, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Zulkarnaen Martanegara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burak Paksoy having to interfere. Seno Mahuse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yusuf Tüzünalp in the 13th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes, Pinarhisar FK's Rahmi Paker shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Seno Mahuse came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pinarhisar FK reached it. The supporters of GARUDA booed when Pinarhisar FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emrah Hatırlı didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Batı Uluğ notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of GARUDA's Seno Mahuse. Seno Mahuse was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boy Sudradjat during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 38 minutes into the match, GARUDA's goalkeeper Seno Mahuse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yusuf Tüzünalp. When Marsilam Kusudiarjo fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GARUDA's protests and gave Marsilam Kusudiarjo a yellow card for diving instead. 42 minutes into the game, one of GARUDA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yusuf Tüzünalp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zulkarnaen Martanegara struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Burak Paksoy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GARUDA. The supporters of Pinarhisar FK booed when GARUDA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yudha Rahwana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Batı Uluğ recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Seno Mahuse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batı Uluğ, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. GARUDA's Seno Mahuse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yusuf Tüzünalp in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to Pinarhisar FK getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Emrah Hatırlı hit a great ball. Batı Uluğ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Yusuf Tüzünalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinarhisar FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Yusuf Tüzünalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seno Mahuse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
