In the 14th match minute, Whitechurch FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brine Mullan to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Whitechurch FC's Rylie Brennan got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fiachra McNamee in the 24th minute of play forced Whitechurch FC's goalkeeper Alexander Hamilton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Hamilton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fiachra McNamee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Ballyboughal's goal looked a bit too open when Binnech Ghee came free, but Barclay Ferguson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Whitechurch FC's zone, Brennen Moran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Hamilton came out of the goal and Brennen Moran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Whitechurch FC's Brine Mullan got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute, Binnech Ghee got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, Gordan Deans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Whitechurch FC's Gordan Deans got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Alexander Hamilton came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Ballyboughal's Torran McPaul. But to his dismay, Torran McPaul quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0.
In the 54th minute, Binnech Ghee reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Barclay Ferguson. The goal made the score 1-1. Bevin Molloy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 59 minutes, Torran McPaul managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballyboughal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torran McPaul was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexander Hamilton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torran McPaul in the 61st minute of play. Todd Glen Crowe hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Gordan Deans's late challenge caught a Ballyboughal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gordan Deans helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes Whitechurch FC got a freekick which was hit by Gordan Deans. 69 minutes into the match, Whitechurch FC's goal looked a bit too open when Torran McPaul came free, but Alexander Hamilton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brennen Moran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Alexander Hamilton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Whitechurch FC's Alexander Hamilton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiachra McNamee in the 76th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Whitechurch FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis McBrand came free, but Alexander Hamilton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute Fiachra McNamee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Hamilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Whitechurch FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
