The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ugochukwutubelum Antetokounmpo made a kick off. In the 69th minute, Rafik Oliwa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Belgium's Manuel Campens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-0 in the 87th minute. Milija Ivanić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Campens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute Ugochukwutubelum Antetokounmpo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Campens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremije Mirković showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mbaka Mbolu, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. 99 minutes into the game, Milija Ivanić recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manuel Campens. Milija Ivanić showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, Belgium could leave the field as winners, despite Serbia having more of the ball for most of the match.
