Özalp Parsbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Ömür Egelioğlu in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Özalp Parsbay saved Bodrum from getting behind. Ahmet Hasan İlsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 10 played minutes Ünye JK got a freekick which was hit by Feridun Sağlam. Rahmi Bayman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aşır Şaki in the 12th minute of the match. Ünye JK's Ahmet Ömür Egelioğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rahmi Bayman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Hasan İlsu in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Ünye JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Ömür Egelioğlu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 27 minutes, Ahmet Hasan İlsu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bodrum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Hasan İlsu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rahmi Bayman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aşır Şaki in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th minute Aşır Şaki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rahmi Bayman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ahmet Nedim Oyanalp fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bodrum's protests and gave Ahmet Nedim Oyanalp a yellow card for diving instead. 42 minutes into the game, Ahmet Hasan İlsu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rahmi Bayman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 44 played minutes Ünye JK got a freekick which was hit by İsmail Cem Onursev. The Ünye JK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bodrum were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Ömür Egelioğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ünye JK's İsmail Cem Onursev got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th match minute, Bodrum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demircan Yalçıner to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Özalp Parsbay showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Özalp Parsbay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Ömür Egelioğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After taking down the ball on Ünye JK's corner Ali Güralp Akyel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Özalp Parsbay quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Bodrum's Ahmet Hasan İlsu got a free kick in the 74th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Ömür Egelioğlu in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Özalp Parsbay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Aşır Şaki took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Rahmi Bayman to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Bodrum getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Erdinç Deniz hit a great ball. Ahmet Hasan İlsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Bodrum defense, Ahmet Ömür Egelioğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Özalp Parsbay. The Bodrum fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Özalp Parsbay should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bodrum had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
