Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Evington's Grant Mason started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ged Ingram received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Muhsin Akça came out and tried to block the shot, but Ged Ingram slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. Fazlı Secavend kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Rhys Moss struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Muhsin Akça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Evington. Grant Mason received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Muhsin Akça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Ged Ingram got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stan Meadowcroft was extremely unlucky when he, in the 16th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Hurşit Akgöl charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hurşit Akgöl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, Hurşit Akgöl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Evington's Stan Meadowcroft slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Muhsin Akça. That made the score 3-0 after 26 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fazlı Secavend in the 30th minute of play forced Evington's goalkeeper Glen Blake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34thth minute of the game Fazlı Secavend who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Evington's Glen Blake was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Karacabey booed when Evington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ged Ingram didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hasan Ali Raşit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grant Mason got free with Muhsin Akça in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Evington were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Karacabey's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Grant Mason took the corner. At last the ball reached Casey Trotter at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Karacabey. 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hasan Ali Raşit was the one to do the kick off. Fazlı Secavend recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 56 minutes into the game, when Rupert Higgins put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Evington:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Karacabey:s goal. Evington's Glen Blake proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Evington from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Evington defense, Fazlı Secavend kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Glen Blake. The Evington fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Glen Blake should have stopped the shot. Glen Blake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasan Ali Raşit in the 67th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Karacabey's Alp Orkutay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Glen Blake. That made the score 4-2 after 69 minutes of play. If Ged Ingram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casey Trotter struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Muhsin Akça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Evington. Alp Orkutay hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Karacabey's Hurşit Akgöl got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Karacabey's goalkeeper Muhsin Akça, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Muhsin Akça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casey Trotter in the 83rd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Evington's Casey Trotter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Muhsin Akça made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. After 89 played minutes Karacabey got a freekick which was hit by Alp Orkutay. Alp Orkutay's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Glen Blake firmly grabbed it by the left post. Glen Blake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hurşit Akgöl in the 92nd minute of play. Ged Ingram fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhsin Akça having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Evington had played much better football throughout.
