Glen Blake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sakut Refet in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to Eses City getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Orbay Hürsoy hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Eses City's zone, Graeme Vine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Habib Kınıkaslan came out of the goal and Graeme Vine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Grant Mason came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Evington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grant Mason couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sakut Refet in the 18th minute of play forced Evington's goalkeeper Glen Blake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grant Mason who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Habib Kınıkaslan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Casey Trotter took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Habib Kınıkaslan. Habib Kınıkaslan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, Ged Ingram notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Eses City's Habib Kınıkaslan. Habib Kınıkaslan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eses City's Habib Kınıkaslan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Eses City from getting a goal against them. In the 31st match minute, Eses City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bora Kutlualp to maneuver through the defense. Casey Trotter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Atakan Uz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glen Blake having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, one of Eses City:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 41st minute there was a penalty for Evington. Grant Mason stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Habib Kınıkaslan. 3-0. If Casey Trotter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
In the 55th minute, Grant Mason made a precise shot to the right of Habib Kınıkaslan. Eses City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. If Ged Ingram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute Ged Ingram shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Habib Kınıkaslan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casey Trotter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Habib Kınıkaslan having to interfere. Eses City's Habib Kınıkaslan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grant Mason in the 66th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Eses City got a freekick which was hit by Doğa Bedih. The supporters of Evington booed when Eses City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doğa Bedih didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Evington's Grant Mason in action when he in the 69th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 75th minute of the match, Samet Aktaşlı got a very nice opportunity to score, but Glen Blake was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Eses City's Bora Kutlualp got a free kick in the 77th minute. If Grant Mason had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ged Ingram sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Eses City's goal looked a bit too open when Ged Ingram came free, but Habib Kınıkaslan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Eses City's goal looked a bit too open when Grant Mason came free, but Habib Kınıkaslan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Evington's goalkeeper Glen Blake had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samet Aktaşlı. Habib Kınıkaslan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ged Ingram, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The Evington fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Evington's Grant Mason looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
