After a defensive mix-up in Susurluk's zone, Nedim Uçman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serkan Uzhan came out of the goal and Nedim Uçman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute, Abdi Saygın Cambaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Biga booed when Susurluk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hüseyin Rahmi Ulucan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Halil Özsan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If İstemihan Çavas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Ahmet Nafiz İltekin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Susurluk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 47th minute Halil Özsan suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Kudret Özerdim charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kudret Özerdim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, one of Susurluk:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Susurluk. Nedim Uçman shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell İstemihan Çavas to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Biga's Atilla Tarkan Cespan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide.
