With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Kürşat Müjdat in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Özalp Parsbay saved Bodrum from getting behind. In the 19th match minute, Bodrum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demircan Yalçıner to maneuver through the defense. After 20 played minutes, Savur SK's Türker Tamay shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Özalp Parsbay came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Savur SK reached it. Özalp Parsbay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Kürşat Müjdat, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Ali Kürşat Müjdat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Özalp Parsbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Özalp Parsbay came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Savur SK's Cemil Özertan. But to his dismay, Cemil Özertan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Seyhun Şölen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmet Hasan İlsu went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 29th minute, Kamer Yatuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Aşır Şaki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Seyhun Şölen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Erdinç Deniz kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. A collision led to Savur SK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Gürol Ayçetin hit a great ball. Bodrum's Aşır Şaki got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Bodrum's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Kürşat Müjdat came free, but Özalp Parsbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Kürşat Müjdat in the 42nd minute of play forced Bodrum's goalkeeper Özalp Parsbay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Aşır Şaki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Seyhun Şölen was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Özalp Parsbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cemil Özertan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Bodrum's Erdinç Deniz got a free kick in the 67th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Avni Kamver during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Savur SK! 3-3 came through a penalty shot after 75 played minutes, when Bodrum:s Rauf Daim calmly waited for Savur SK:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. When Cemil Özertan, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 79 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Özalp Parsbay was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Ali Kürşat Müjdat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Hasan İlsu got free with Seyhun Şölen in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Müfit Durhal struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Özalp Parsbay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Savur SK.
