Grant Mason might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aygün Zoral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Grant Mason ran back to his position shaking his head. Grant Mason sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Graeme Vine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Grant Mason managed to get in a good position for a shot. Evington's supporters rose to their feet, but Grant Mason was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aygün Zoral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evington's Glen Blake proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Evington from getting a goal against them. Evington's Glen Blake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asım Arif Cansoy in the 22nd minute of play. When Grant Mason came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Evington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grant Mason couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Tasova booed when Evington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tristram Reed didn't get a good kick on the ball. Asım Arif Cansoy struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Glen Blake didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tasova. In the 34th match minute, Tasova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özbek Şerefhan to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Tasova booed when Evington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ged Ingram didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Numan Baştuğs short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Glen Blake to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aygün Zoral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casey Trotter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 played minutes Evington got a freekick which was hit by Ged Ingram. Tasova's Şakir Özselen got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ged Ingram sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Asım Arif Cansoy to strike the kick off in the second half. Grant Mason's late challenge caught a Tasova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Grant Mason helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute Murathan Uygar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glen Blake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asım Arif Cansoy in the 57th minute of play forced Evington's goalkeeper Glen Blake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Evington's Grant Mason ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aygün Zoral. Aygün Zoral yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. In the 64th minute, Ged Ingram got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Muharrem Nurullah kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Ged Ingram hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. If Murathan Uygar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Evington's Ged Ingram got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tasova's Aygün Zoral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casey Trotter in the 76th minute of play. Aygün Zoral didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 78th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Bozkurt Boysel kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 81 played minutes Tasova got a freekick which was hit by Şakir Özselen. Evington's Grant Mason got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 86 minutes, Ged Ingram managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Evington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ged Ingram was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tasova's Aygün Zoral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Tasova from getting a goal against them. Mustafa Numan Baştuğ took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Glen Blake. Glen Blake dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Ged Ingram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Evington players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
