In the 34th minute, Ünsal Esraf left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abazor United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Den Cardwell in the 39th minute of play forced Abazor United's goalkeeper Özen Sebih to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, London Lions's Jamal Cavanagh got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Serhat Tanaltan struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Bogdan Ghimpu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abazor United.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Den Cardwell to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, London Lions's Nathan Griffin got a free kick in the 51st minute. London Lions's Bogdan Ghimpu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ünsal Esraf in the 53rd minute of play. If Ünsal Esraf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rupert Rundle hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. If Leandro Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bogdan Ghimpu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serhat Tanaltan's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the London Lions players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Abazor United.
