Serkan Uzhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Evington. The crowd rose to their feet as Stan Meadowcroft kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Serkan Uzhan. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. In the 11th match minute, Susurluk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kudret Özerdim to maneuver through the defense. Stan Meadowcroft sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Susurluk's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Casey Trotter scored to the left of an out of position Serkan Uzhan, making the score, 2-0. 19 minutes into the match, Evington's goal looked a bit too open when İstemihan Çavas came free, but Glen Blake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casey Trotter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Serkan Uzhan made a huge save. When Hüseyin Rahmi Ulucan fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Susurluk's protests and gave Hüseyin Rahmi Ulucan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, Susurluk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hüseyin Rahmi Ulucan to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th match minute, Susurluk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Nafiz İltekin to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 27 minutes, Ged Ingram managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Evington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ged Ingram was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes in the game, Grant Mason fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Serkan Uzhan having to interfere. The goalkeeper, Serkan Uzhan, was totally fooled by Evington's Grant Mason, who 31 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Graeme Vine kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute of the match Hüseyin Rahmi Ulucan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Glen Blake showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 45 played minutes Evington got a freekick which was hit by Ged Ingram. In the 47th minute İstemihan Çavas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glen Blake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ged Ingram managed to get in a good position for a shot. Evington's supporters rose to their feet, but Ged Ingram was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serkan Uzhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tristram Reed hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Evington's Glen Blake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birdal Balkoç in the 56th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Susurluk's zone, Grant Mason stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serkan Uzhan came out of the goal and Grant Mason tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute, Casey Trotter made a precise shot to the right of Serkan Uzhan. Susurluk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Grant Mason recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grant Mason in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serkan Uzhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Susurluk defense, Casey Trotter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serkan Uzhan. The Susurluk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serkan Uzhan should have stopped the shot. In the 72nd minute, Rupert Higgins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Evington's goal looked a bit too open when Hüseyin Rahmi Ulucan came free, but Glen Blake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Birdal Balkoç could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Glen Blake made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Susurluk's Güray Ahi got a free kick in the 76th minute. When Kudret Özerdim fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 87th match minute, Evington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tristram Reed to maneuver through the defense. Susurluk's Serkan Uzhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stan Meadowcroft in the 90th minute of play. After 96 minutes of play, Evington's Grant Mason made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serkan Uzhan was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Evington were the better team. Evington's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
