Stolpskottet Väsby BK's Petr Janošec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 谢庭星 in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the match Coventry City got a corner. Stolpskottet Väsby BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 何雄海 ran over to the corner to take the kick. 何雄海 made a great header on Coventry City's corner, it was just that Stolpskottet Väsby BK's Petr Janošec managed to reach the ball for a save. Coventry City's 何雄海 got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Coventry City's 谢庭星 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petr Janošec narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Stolpskottet Väsby BK's goal looked a bit too open when 康翔卫 came free, but Petr Janošec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marick Vrieling hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. When Gerard ter Averst came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Stolpskottet Väsby BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerard ter Averst couldn't finish the play. Petr Janošec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 谢庭星 in the 72nd minute of play. Coventry City's 庞城奕 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerard ter Averst in the 75th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Gerard ter Averst had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 庞城奕. Coventry City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerard ter Averst was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of Stolpskottet Väsby BK booed when Coventry City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. 庞翀奕 didn't get a good kick on the ball. The attack was good, but when 康翔卫 in the 97th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Despite being the better team, Coventry City failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
