But to his dismay, Ronnapob Muangon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When 吴桑誉 fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 青岛海牛足球俱乐部's protests and gave 吴桑誉 a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, 吴桑誉 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Saphan Kwai's Sek Kubkratouk in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A collision led to Saphan Kwai getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Sek Kubkratouk hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Ronnapob Muangon came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Saphan Kwai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronnapob Muangon couldn't finish the play. Sek Kubkratouk's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but 狄景崇 firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Sek Kubkratouk took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for 狄景崇 to make any attempt to save it. Ronnapob Muangon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
