In the 3rd match minute, Stolpskottet Väsby BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marick Vrieling to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute Mehmet Özbala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Janošec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match Tibet Kudsi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Petr Janošec skillfully saved the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Stolpskottet Väsby BK's goal looked a bit too open when Behçet Naşit came free, but Petr Janošec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeffrey Steffens's late challenge caught a Rio Puerta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeffrey Steffens helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd minute, Jeffrey Steffens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Stolpskottet Väsby BK getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Marick Vrieling hit a great ball. After 28 played minutes Rio Puerta got a freekick which was hit by Behçet Naşit. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Özbala in the 30th minute of play forced Stolpskottet Väsby BK's goalkeeper Petr Janošec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mehmet Özbala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Petr Janošec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jeffrey Steffens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Petr Janošec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gazi Acarbey in the 42nd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Rio Puerta's Mehmet Özbala nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petr Janošec made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.

52 minutes into the match, Rio Puerta's goal looked a bit too open when Jeffrey Steffens came free, but Müfit Tayuk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Müfit Tayuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerard ter Averst in the 53rd minute of play. Gerard ter Averst took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Müfit Tayuk. Müfit Tayuk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 56th minute, Jeffrey Steffens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Müfit Tayuk was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Jeffrey Steffens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Müfit Tayuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gerard ter Averst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Stolpskottet Väsby BK's Alex van Rijswijk got a free kick in the 67th minute. Mehmet Özbala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petr Janošec having to interfere. Bektaş Ali Salur's late challenge caught a Stolpskottet Väsby BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rio Puerta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerard ter Averst was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. The Stolpskottet Väsby BK players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
