The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Campillo De La Virgen AFC's Platon Ortiz got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 16th match minute, MaconhaFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Vítor Senna to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, MaconhaFC's Marcel Matorin got a free kick in the 18th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Miliano Saura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campillo De La Virgen AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miliano Saura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dário Palmeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guto Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aitor Zaplana having to interfere. Aitor Zaplana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luís Galvão in the 25th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Anter Cifuentes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dário Palmeira was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. 30 minutes into the game, Tuste Olmos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Campillo De La Virgen AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MaconhaFC the free kick. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Manfredo Nóbrega sped through Campillo De La Virgen AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aitor Zaplana. Ronaldão Silveira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aitor Zaplana. Campillo De La Virgen AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Miliano Saura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MaconhaFC's Manfredo Nóbrega got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guto Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Aitor Zaplana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Guto Gomes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Campillo De La Virgen AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MaconhaFC were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anter Cifuentes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Manfredo Nóbrega could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Aitor Zaplana made a huge save. In the 54th minute Guto Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aitor Zaplana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Guto Gomes made a precise shot to the right of Aitor Zaplana. Campillo De La Virgen AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Lucero Crespo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Platon Ortiz in the 63rd minute of play forced MaconhaFC's goalkeeper Dário Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aitor Zaplana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guto Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 76th minute, Manfredo Nóbrega reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aitor Zaplana. The goal made the score 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Guto Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot. MaconhaFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Guto Gomes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aitor Zaplana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcel Matorin charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcel Matorin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, MaconhaFC's Marcel Matorin got a free kick in the 88th minute. When Tuste Olmos came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Campillo De La Virgen AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tuste Olmos couldn't finish the play. Anter Cifuentes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dário Palmeira having to interfere. The Campillo De La Virgen AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MaconhaFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
