The referee showed Chan Hormaza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 played minutes Chato futbol club got a freekick which was hit by Chan Hormaza. The supporters of Chato futbol club booed when Rio Puerta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orhan Seyfi Seyfeddin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Alvarez Vallujera in the 11th minute really tested Müfit Tayuk's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Rio Puerta's Behçet Naşit got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Özbala in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonardo Cue saved Chato futbol club from getting behind. After having played for 41 minutes, Palben Graciosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chato futbol club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Palben Graciosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Rio Puerta's zone, Palben Graciosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Müfit Tayuk came out of the goal and Palben Graciosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mehmet Özbala scored 0-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonardo Cue, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nisio Heredia made a kick off. If Firman Chapa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Umut Yücel during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 56 played minutes Rio Puerta got a freekick which was hit by Umut Yücel. Emre Uçarer hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Mehmet Özbala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Leonardo Cue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Mehmet Özbala took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Leonardo Cue to make any attempt to save it. Rio Puerta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
