The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Olivedos booed when Relyn Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Cangeopol didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Vinhas in the 14th minute of play forced Olivedos's goalkeeper Abelardo Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 minutes Olivedos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gabriel Vinhas who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ramiro de Lara almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Olivedos's Abelardo Maranhense did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Vinhas in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Maranhense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olivedos's Abelardo Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Faria in the 28th minute of play. When Olivedos's Abel de Godoi in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abel de Godoi made a kick off. Gino Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel de Godoi in the 57th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Relyn Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Abel de Godoi came free, but Gino Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gino Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel de Godoi in the 66th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Oséias Correia had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Ricardinho Vianna fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After 75 played minutes Relyn Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Faria. In the 77thth minute of the game Abel de Godoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Relyn Futebol Clube's Gino Velasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gino Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel de Godoi in the 81st minute of play. If Gabriel Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Romeo Cangeopol in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Olivedos's Tony Schmidt. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abel de Godoi in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gino Velasco saved Relyn Futebol Clube from getting behind. In the 88th minute, Tony Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tony Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
