The audience thought a goal was coming when Seb Hedges got free with David Seaman in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. DENVER™'s Mustafa Cumhur Gök played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Alagoano in the 19th minute of play. Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Cunha in the 28th minute of play forced DENVER™'s goalkeeper Mustafa Cumhur Gök to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DENVER™'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dorel Chevereșan in the 31st minute.
