Thanks to some nice moves Belo Alvarez could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Dan Wennerqvist however easily saved by the left post. 15 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's Erlantz Bermejo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dan Wennerqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18th minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurino Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Lano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Belo Alvarez. Esteban Vadillos kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Lano came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the A.D. Alcorcón defense, Hernan Lano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurino Serena. The A.D. Alcorcón fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurino Serena should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute of the match A.D. Alcorcón got a corner. Soroca F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nereo Acosta ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Nereo Acosta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dan Wennerqvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
