Boy Bonk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Lew Yashin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lew Yashin made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Boy Bonk sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Modlau's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stefan Misiorowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Bone Breakers's players had a chance to rest. Bone Breakers's Stefan Misiorowski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lew Yashin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Emil Chlapowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Fioravanti in the 16th minute of the match. Roland Brudnicki received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lew Yashin came out and tried to block the shot, but Roland Brudnicki slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Fioravanti in the 20th minute of play forced Bone Breakers's goalkeeper Emil Chlapowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rdth minute of the game Barry McCray who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bone Breakers's Emil Chlapowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lew Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Brudnicki in the 25th minute of the match. Lew Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Prata in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Bone Breakers booed when Modlau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludomir Ludwiczak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wincenty Mochowak scored 1-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emil Chlapowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Barry McCray went to the cornerflag to take it. Lew Yashin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Prata in the 43rd minute. Emil Chlapowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarmo Laik in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Boy Bonk made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Claudio Fioravanti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Chlapowski was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Lew Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Prata, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 71 played minutes Modlau got a freekick which was hit by Yanislav Lechev. Lew Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Alfonso in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Mateusz Porajewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 played minutes Modlau got a freekick which was hit by Damazy Jucha. Emil Chlapowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Fioravanti in the 83rd minute. Modlau's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Barry McCray in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Modlau's Dominic Salazar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emil Chlapowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emil Chlapowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominic Salazar went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Ernesto Alfonso kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Modlau's goalkeeper Lew Yashin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Modlau had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
