Alberto Luken hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Ismael Abalos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adrogue FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismael Abalos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Vimaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albert Gaardahl who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Franco Armani when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to La Maquina 9-12-18 getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Cléberson Prestes hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, La Maquina 9-12-18's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Vergaray came free, but Jose Vimaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Alejo Bazkoare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute of the match La Maquina 9-12-18 got a corner. Adrogue FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. La Maquina 9-12-18's Ahmet Baki Tecimer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Franco Armani in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nestor Chucho placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Albert Gaardahl made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Laureano Vergaray sped through La Maquina 9-12-18's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jose Vimaro. After a defensive mix-up in La Maquina 9-12-18's zone, Laureano Vergaray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Vimaro came out of the goal and Laureano Vergaray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jose Vimaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Vergaray, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 85 played minutes Adrogue FC got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Chucho. In the 89th minute, Ahmet Baki Tecimer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 91 minutes, Javi Pinola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Adrogue FC and the La Maquina 9-12-18 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st match minute, Adrogue FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javi Pinola to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Adrogue FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than La Maquina 9-12-18 throughout the match.
