WINNING ELEVEN's Fred Nilsson got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fred Nilsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victoriano Savier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute of the match WINNING ELEVEN got a corner. Banda's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andro Reiman ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on WINNING ELEVEN's corner Vilhelm Gustafsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Victoriano Savier quite easily take care of the ball. Fred Nilsson took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victoriano Savier. Victoriano Savier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 20 minutes into the game, Andreas Tripp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Banda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave WINNING ELEVEN the free kick. In the 21st match minute, Banda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Tripp to maneuver through the defense. Victoriano Savier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Nilsson in the 22nd minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Banda's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Nilsson came free, but Victoriano Savier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Banda's Victoriano Savier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Nilsson in the 30th minute of play. When Andreas Tripp was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 31 minutes had been played. After 32 played minutes Banda got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Tripp. Victoriano Savier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Nilsson in the 33rd minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedicto Raebert to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Fred Nilsson notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Banda's Victoriano Savier. Victoriano Savier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jake Leonard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedicto Raebert in the 54th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Fred Nilsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victoriano Savier. Banda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fred Nilsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Fred Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Victoriano Savier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Nilsson in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute Fred Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Savier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victoriano Savier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fred Nilsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victoriano Savier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Fred Nilsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victoriano Savier having to make a save. In the 75th minute Fred Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Savier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. WINNING ELEVEN made a substitution. Ciriaco Urdaspal replaced Leonel Cordaro. 83 minutes into the match, WINNING ELEVEN's goalkeeper Jake Leonard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cevdet Ergüleç. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Nilsson in the 86th minute of play forced Banda's goalkeeper Victoriano Savier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Nilsson in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victoriano Savier saved Banda from getting behind. After 87 minutes Banda's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andro Reiman who took care of the corner kick. Victoriano Savier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Ostadar in the 89th minute of the match. In the 96th minute Fred Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Savier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Banda's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
