Spectators: 10300 (Terracing: 7725, Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Klim Kostygin started the match with the kick off. 10 minutes into the match, Erofey Kurashov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 김 담. South Korea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erofey Kurashov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, 김 준 put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Innokentiy Blyakhin. In the 21st minute, South Korea's Goodness I seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Goodness I the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of South Korea protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Goodness I had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 20 minutes into the game, one of South Korea:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for Kazakhstan. Aleksandr Leonov stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving 김 담. 1-2. After some careless play in the South Korea defense, Erofey Kurashov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 김 담. The South Korea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 김 담 should have stopped the shot. 35 minutes into the game, Klim Kostygin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. 김 담 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 김 담 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Klim Kostygin went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Eduard Ponomarev put it in 1-6 from a short distance just to the right of 김 담. 47 minutes into the match, South Korea's goal looked a bit too open when Klim Kostygin came free, but 김 담 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sam Sung to strike the kick off in the second half. Kazakhstan's Innokentiy Blyakhin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 조 내 in the 54th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Klim Kostygin could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which 김 담 however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by 김 준 in the 60th minute of play forced Kazakhstan's goalkeeper Innokentiy Blyakhin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 김 용 hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. If Martyn Efremov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 1-7 became the score in the 67th minute when Klim Kostygin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 70th minute 황보 추 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Innokentiy Blyakhin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 김 담 made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Eduard Ponomarev sent off a good shot on target. Mikhail Agutin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but 김 담 made a huge save. Kazakhstan were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after South Korea's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aleksandr Leonov took the corner. Kazakhstan's Klim Kostygin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 김 담 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 81st minute, Klim Kostygin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 김 담. The goal made the score 1-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Klim Kostygin got free with 김 담 in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 87 minutes into the game, Martyn Efremov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 김 담. Martyn Efremov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-9. 강 최 hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Innokentiy Blyakhin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 김 영 in the 92nd minute of play. When the match was over Kazakhstan could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than South Korea throughout the match.
