Avebury's Deris Flamenco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Avebury from getting a goal against them. Deris Flamenco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heribert Löning in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Erik Niva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deris Flamenco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Erik Niva notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Avebury's Deris Flamenco. Deris Flamenco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Erik Niva kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Deris Flamenco. That made the score 4-0 in the 20 minute of play. Deris Flamenco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Niva, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgar Gutierrez during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Udo Renger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heribert Löning in the 46th minute of play forced Avebury's goalkeeper Deris Flamenco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Avebury's Max Machado got a free kick in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Erik Niva made the kick off in the second half. Gencalp Kani took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Deris Flamenco. Deris Flamenco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Avebury's Deris Flamenco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heribert Löning in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Avebury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovani Chavez to maneuver through the defense. After 62 played minutes Avebury got a freekick which was hit by Giovani Chavez. When Carl Tempel came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the SV PM Cottbus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carl Tempel couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute, Carl Tempel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SV PM Cottbus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Carl Tempel scored 9-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Deris Flamenco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Udo Renger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Deris Flamenco. Avebury's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Udo Renger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. 79 minutes into the match, Avebury's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Niva came free, but Deris Flamenco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Erik Niva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Deris Flamenco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Deris Flamenco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Niva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ansgar Kleim scored 12-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Deris Flamenco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Avebury's Deris Flamenco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Niva in the 88th minute of play. Avebury's Max Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emiliano Del Carmen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jairo Corpeño fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avebury's protests and gave Jairo Corpeño a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Jairo Corpeño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SV PM Cottbus walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
