In the 20th minute Gorri Feal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rick Rinzema saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peri Torres made a kick off. Beltxe Cabrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Saarberg in the 56th minute of the match. A collision led to Excalibur FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ximeno Acedo hit a great ball. Peri Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peri Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Rick Rinzema made a huge save. Paco Encina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Rick Rinzema tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gorri Feal kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Peri Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Rudi Kielstra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rick Rinzema made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Peri Torres sent off a good shot on target. Peri Torres was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 94th minute. Excalibur FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Excalibur FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
