Faustão Ceresso came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Östavall's Joachim Sandell. But to his dismay, Joachim Sandell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Suassurana's José Augusto Amaral in 21 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Jonatan Alebom guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 22nd minute, Sven Anselius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonatan Alebom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aílton de Godoi in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute Cauan Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Alebom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Östavall's Jonatan Alebom got control of the ball when Adhemar Sanches tried to sneak it across the goal line. Östavall's Thomas Pååk got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Pååk was the one to do the kick off. Thomas Pååk was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 52nd minute. Östavall's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Thomas Pååk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustão Ceresso having to interfere. In the 58th minute Aílton de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Alebom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonatan Alebom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cauan Rosa in the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, José Augusto Amaral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonatan Alebom. Östavall's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Augusto Amaral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 66th match minute, Suassurana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauan Rosa to maneuver through the defense. Faustão Ceresso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomas Pååk's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. If Joachim Sandell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Faustão Ceresso came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Östavall's Thomas Pååk. But to his dismay, Thomas Pååk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 77th match minute, Suassurana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aílton de Godoi to maneuver through the defense. Jonatan Alebom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Augusto Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute, Joachim Sandell made a precise shot to the right of Faustão Ceresso. Suassurana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Joachim Sandell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Faustão Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonatan Alebom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Augusto Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Jonatan Alebom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauan Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Suassurana supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Östavall's performance. The match ended with a win for Östavall.
