Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ballysheedy's Ardán Kirby started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Horia Nicolae's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Comhghall Sheridan was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Ardán Kirby scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Costel Peptan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Oaia cu Soric's Horia Nicolae got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 11 played minutes Ballysheedy got a freekick which was hit by Ardán Kirby. Comhghall Sheridan came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Oaia cu Soric's Ion Postelnicu. But to his dismay, Ion Postelnicu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ardán Kirby got free with Costel Peptan in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Costel Peptan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philib McStephen, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Davie Brennan during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Ballysheedy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davie Brennan to maneuver through the defense. Comhghall Sheridan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horia Nicolae in the 25th minute of play. Ion Postelnicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Comhghall Sheridan having to interfere. The supporters of Ballysheedy booed when Oaia cu Soric was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Arseanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ardán Kirby got free with Costel Peptan in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute, Rorry McWill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vintilă Itu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Costel Peptan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bresal McFrank's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Horia Nicolae to strike the kick off in the second half. Ballysheedy's Comhghall Sheridan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Ballysheedy from getting a goal against them. The long shot by Vintilă Itu in the 56th minute really tested Comhghall Sheridan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ardán Kirby in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Costel Peptan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ballysheedy's Ardán Kirby in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oaia cu Soric's goalie prevented a goal. Panait Alb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horia Nicolae in the 65th minute of play forced Ballysheedy's goalkeeper Comhghall Sheridan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ardán Kirby came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Ballysheedy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ardán Kirby couldn't finish the play. When Coinneach Lavine fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballysheedy's protests and gave Coinneach Lavine a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, Ballysheedy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Coinneach Lavine to maneuver through the defense. Comhghall Sheridan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Alb in the 77th minute of play. Ion Postelnicu hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 80 minutes of play, Ballysheedy's Ardán Kirby made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Costel Peptan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Panait Alb charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Panait Alb the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Panait Alb hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Costel Peptan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ardán Kirby in the 84th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Oaia cu Soric's Panait Alb got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 92nd minute, Ion Postelnicu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Comhghall Sheridan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. A collision led to Oaia cu Soric getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Leonard Coroian hit a great ball. When Philib McStephen came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Ballysheedy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Philib McStephen couldn't finish the play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
