Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aílton de Godoi started the match with the kick off. Ion Postelnicu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Faustão Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Horia Nicolae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Oaia cu Soric's Horia Nicolae got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Costel Peptan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Augusto Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes, Adhemar Sanches mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Suassurana and the Oaia cu Soric players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Suassurana's Adhemar Sanches got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Aílton de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aílton de Godoi struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Costel Peptan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suassurana. 44 minutes into the game, Aílton de Godoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Costel Peptan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Suassurana were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ion Postelnicu was the one to do the kick off. Ion Postelnicu might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faustão Ceresso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ion Postelnicu ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Suassurana getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Benjamim Pombal hit a great ball. After 57 minutes, Panait Alb mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oaia cu Soric and the Suassurana players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Oaia cu Soric's Panait Alb got a free kick in the 57th minute. If José Augusto Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ion Postelnicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Suassurana's Aílton de Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Călin Neacșu fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oaia cu Soric's protests and gave Călin Neacșu a yellow card for diving instead. Costel Peptan made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when José Augusto Amaral sent off a good shot on target. Ion Postelnicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Ion Postelnicu notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Suassurana's Faustão Ceresso. Faustão Ceresso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. José Augusto Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costel Peptan having to interfere.
