Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alfred Saarberg got the match started through his kick off. Comhghall Sheridan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Saarberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Han Venema hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Comhghall Sheridan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudi Kielstra in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of Ballysheedy booed when Wadwaai FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorn Hadders didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Beagan McAaron came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Ballysheedy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beagan McAaron couldn't finish the play. Comhghall Sheridan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfred Saarberg went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Kerrigan McIan's late challenge caught a Wadwaai FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kerrigan McIan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th match minute, Ballysheedy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kerrigan McIan to maneuver through the defense. Comhghall Sheridan came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Wadwaai FC's Alfred Saarberg. But to his dismay, Alfred Saarberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Beagan McAaron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rick Rinzema tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rick Rinzema made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bresal McFrank in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Beagan McAaron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rick Rinzema saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rudi Kielstra kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Comhghall Sheridan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Saarberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ardán Kirby was the one to do the kick off. If Alfred Saarberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Ballysheedy's Comhghall Sheridan got control of the ball when Rudi Kielstra tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Han Venema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ballysheedy booed when Wadwaai FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Saarberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th match minute, Ballysheedy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roy Kelly to maneuver through the defense. When Roy Kelly fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballysheedy's protests and gave Roy Kelly a yellow card for diving instead. Roy Kelly kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Kaine Walker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballysheedy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wadwaai FC the free kick. After 71 played minutes Ballysheedy got a freekick which was hit by Kaine Walker. Comhghall Sheridan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rudi Kielstra in the 72nd minute. After 73 played minutes Ballysheedy got a freekick which was hit by Davie Brennan. In the 77th minute Ardán Kirby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rick Rinzema saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ardán Kirby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Wadwaai FC's zone, Ardán Kirby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rick Rinzema came out of the goal and Ardán Kirby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beagan McAaron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rick Rinzema having to interfere. Jorn Hadders kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ballysheedy's Ardán Kirby got a free kick in the 90th minute. If Beagan McAaron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Ardán Kirby made a precise shot to the right of Rick Rinzema. Wadwaai FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Wadwaai FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ballysheedy had controlled the match.
