The supporters of Paris FC booed when Ballysheedy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davie Brennan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ballysheedy's zone, Fabian Thomazeau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Comhghall Sheridan came out of the goal and Fabian Thomazeau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ballysheedy's Ardán Kirby got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Paris FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ardán Kirby came free, but Joris Pâque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Ardán Kirby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joris Pâque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Pierre-Olivier Luc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joris Pâque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ardán Kirby, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Comhghall Sheridan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Thomazeau in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Paris FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre-Olivier Luc to maneuver through the defense. Joris Pâque didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Philib McStephen went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 29th minute, Liam Kelly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Thomazeau in the 30th minute of play forced Ballysheedy's goalkeeper Comhghall Sheridan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charles-Emmanuel Belmonte charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charles-Emmanuel Belmonte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, Paris FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles-Emmanuel Belmonte to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Philib McStephen made a precise shot to the right of Joris Pâque. Paris FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 39 minutes, Ardán Kirby made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Paris FC's Joris Pâque tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Éloi Faugère to make the kick off. Ardán Kirby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Joris Pâque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 minutes, Ardán Kirby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballysheedy and the Paris FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kerrigan McIan hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute Fabian Thomazeau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comhghall Sheridan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Paris FC's goalkeeper Joris Pâque had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ardán Kirby. Ardán Kirby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 84 in the game by Ardán Kirby from a close distance when the talented Joris Pâque managed to make a qualified save. Paris FC's players were relieved. Ardán Kirby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joris Pâque having to interfere. Comhghall Sheridan came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Paris FC's Éloi Faugère. But to his dismay, Éloi Faugère quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 96th minute, Ballysheedy's Ardán Kirby ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joris Pâque. Joris Pâque yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Ballysheedy played a much better game than Paris FC and deserved their victory. The Paris FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
