After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Sandu Vasiliu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moldova's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandu Vasiliu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 박 서문 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If 박 태 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergiu Cepoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. 박 서문 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, South Korea's Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cãlin Damaschin. Cãlin Damaschin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. South Korea's 김 준 was substituted for Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink. South Korea's 박 서문 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergiu Cepoi in the 37th minute of play. Alexei Stratulat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Sergiu Cepoi put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of 박 서문. 박 서문 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Nazaria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 박 서문 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Nazaria, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, 김 준 put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Cãlin Damaschin. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 김 준 to make the kick off. Cãlin Damaschin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 김 준's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Cãlin Damaschin came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by South Korea's 김 준. But to his dismay, 김 준 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. South Korea made a substitution. 김 영 replaced 조 내. 박 서문 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Nazaria, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Cãlin Damaschin came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by South Korea's 김 영. But to his dismay, 김 영 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Moldova made a substitution. Ruslan Izmanã replaced Emil Gonta. When Moldova's Sandu Vasiliu in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye South Korea's goalie prevented a goal. 77 minutes into the game, Sandu Vasiliu lined in a short shot 5-3 behind a frustrated 박 서문. South Korea's 박 서문 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save South Korea from getting a goal against them. Cãlin Damaschin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 강 최 in the 87th minute of play. Cãlin Damaschin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 김 영, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moldova's Cãlin Damaschin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 김 영 in the 88th minute of play. 박 서문 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcel Nazaria in the 90th minute. A collision led to South Korea getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. 최 명 hit a great ball. Cãlin Damaschin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 강 최 in the 94th minute of play. After a rather tough play, South Korea's 김 평 got a free kick in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Moldova's goal looked a bit too open when 김 영 came free, but Cãlin Damaschin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 김 영 in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cãlin Damaschin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. South Korea's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
