In the 7th minute Ximun Zaldos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Xabel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Xabel was a little too slow when Ximun Zaldos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. U21 Venezuela's Dorio Laje played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Dacio in the 12th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Saul Ostots hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Bannister in the 20th minute of play forced Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's goalkeeper Marcos Xabel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Gaston Mendebal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaston Mendebal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorio Laje breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Marcos Xabel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Resurrección Diabólica Ψ from getting a goal against them. Roger Bannister could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Marcos Xabel made a huge save. U21 Venezuela's Roger Bannister got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bizen Eguia in the 45th minute of play forced Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's goalkeeper Marcos Xabel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Rosio Tineo hit a great ball. Severino Dacio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 55th playminute. Ximun Zaldos kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Bannister came free, but Marcos Xabel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Bizen Eguia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Xabel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. U21 Venezuela made a substitution. Xandro Zubillaga replaced Bizen Eguia. U21 Venezuela's Timothy Flyte was substituted for Cristian Avina. In the 68thth minute of the game Roger Bannister who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Marcos Xabel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Gabriel-Omar Lucifer was substituted for Severo Tono. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Marcos Xabel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ximun Zaldos in the 74th minute of play. Roger Bannister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Marcos Xabel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Xabel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Bannister, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Marcos Xabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paskal Baragaño in the 82nd minute of the match. A collision led to U21 Venezuela getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Ximun Zaldos hit a great ball. Dorio Laje made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Gabriel-Omar Lucifer sent off a good shot on target. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
