After taking down the ball on Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's corner Epifanio Cristos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Chiekwugo Ekobay quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Okoli Okiche could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Marcos Xabel however easily saved by the left post. 12 minutes into the game, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Severino Dacio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chiekwugo Ekobay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Okoli Okiche kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Chiekwugo Ekobay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Dacio in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, U21 Nigeria's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Tono came free, but Chiekwugo Ekobay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Severino Dacio got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Chiekwugo Ekobay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Dacio in the 45th minute of the match. U21 Nigeria were furious when Micheal Ransome-Kuti was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 46th minute, one of U21 Nigeria:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for U21 Nigeria. The U21 Nigeria players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ were winning 1-3.

In the 56th minute of the match Resurrección Diabólica Ψ got a corner. U21 Nigeria's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Epifanio Cristos ran over to the corner to take the kick. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Epifanio Cristos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Chiekwugo Ekobay in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gaston Mendebal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Goni Udoka hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Gaston Mendebal got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Usain Lucifer fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A hard shot 66 in the game by Severo Tono from a close distance when the talented Chiekwugo Ekobay managed to make a qualified save. U21 Nigeria's players were relieved. Severo Tono had several of the U21 Nigeria's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 66 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Chiekwugo Ekobay as he didn't even see the shot coming. 71 minutes into the match, Vicente Ortle dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Chiekwugo Ekobay, 1-5. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ made a substitution. Gabriel-Omar Lucifer replaced Severo Tono. In the 76th minute Gaston Mendebal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiekwugo Ekobay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino Dacio got in the 78th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Chiekwugo Ekobay handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 80th minute Ishaku Obodoechi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Xabel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Severino Dacio came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Resurrección Diabólica Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Dacio couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the match, Severino Dacio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chiekwugo Ekobay. U21 Nigeria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severino Dacio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. Gabriel-Omar Lucifer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Chiekwugo Ekobay when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel-Omar Lucifer in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chiekwugo Ekobay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gabriel-Omar Lucifer succeeded in the game's 97th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-8. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ played a much better game than U21 Nigeria and deserved their victory. The U21 Nigeria players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
