Aurel Crivoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moreno Martins in the 4th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Hector Hugo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Cãlin Damaschin to make any attempt to save it. Cãlin Damaschin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Hugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hector Hugo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cãlin Damaschin came out and tried to block the shot, but Hector Hugo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 10th minute. In the 37th minute, Hector Hugo made a precise shot to the right of Cãlin Damaschin. CERRO PORTEÑO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The corner led Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Marius Neset to fire away a dangerous shot which Cãlin Damaschin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A throw-in in the 46th minute of the game was made by Edwin Uter with Hector Hugo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 47th minute, 任棋振 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play CERRO PORTEÑO's 任棋振 was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 54 played minutes CERRO PORTEÑO got a freekick which was hit by 任棋振. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Hector Hugo got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 60 minutes into the game, Hector Hugo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Cãlin Damaschin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 65th minute, Máté Gulyás made a precise shot to the right of Cãlin Damaschin. CERRO PORTEÑO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK made a substitution. Bernt Offendahl replaced Alfred Mossberg. Bernt Offendahl struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Cãlin Damaschin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. The CERRO PORTEÑO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cãlin Damaschin should have stopped the shot. Cãlin Damaschin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paul Hermansson's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Paul Hermansson put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cãlin Damaschin. Marius Neset fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cãlin Damaschin having to interfere. CERRO PORTEÑO's Cãlin Damaschin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernt Offendahl in the 93rd minute of play. Gabino Ojeda hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK fully deserved thier win.
