With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rubim Peralta in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg August Hoffmanns saved Rot-Weiss-Essen from getting behind. Kryspin Banach charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kryspin Banach the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 played minutes Rot-Weiss-Essen got a freekick which was hit by Kryspin Banach. In the 20thth minute of the game Rubim Peralta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rot-Weiss-Essen's August Hoffmanns was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Reno Idiaquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anestis Kotsopoulos in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 36th play minute Maximilian Henning came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Reno Idiaquez. 2-1. The supporters of Mandrake fc booed when Rot-Weiss-Essen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anestis Kotsopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rubim Peralta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. August Hoffmanns took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubim Peralta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Reno Idiaquez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.

Rot-Weiss-Essen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Rubim Peralta scored to the left of an out of position August Hoffmanns, making the score, 2-2. Mandrake fc's Rubim Peralta got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mandrake fc made a substitution. Tomás Abancens replaced Ken Weynants. After 66 played minutes Rot-Weiss-Essen got a freekick which was hit by Hakem Al Khames. Reno Idiaquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mesut Özil in the 71st minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Rot-Weiss-Essen's goal looked a bit too open when Rubim Peralta came free, but August Hoffmanns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mesut Özil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reno Idiaquez having to interfere. Mandrake fc's Barto Radaban was substituted for Rubim Peralta. Barto Radaban scored 2-3 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of August Hoffmanns, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Reno Idiaquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mesut Özil in the 88th minute of the match. After 90 minutes Rot-Weiss-Essen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Du Feng Kun who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Barto Radaban heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. August Hoffmanns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barto Radaban in the 92nd minute of play. Mandrake fc were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Rot-Weiss-Essen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Du Feng Kun took the corner. The corner led Mandrake fc's Du Feng Kun to fire away a dangerous shot which August Hoffmanns despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 98th minute Anestis Kotsopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reno Idiaquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mandrake fc eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
