The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sebastian Käller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cãlin Damaschin having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Käller in the 10th minute of play forced CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Cãlin Damaschin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilhelm Galle was a little too slow when Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-2. Kind of Blue's Anastasios Pallini was substituted for Joel Gaxan. After 23 played minutes CERRO PORTEÑO got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Kensicki. Cãlin Damaschin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Käller in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, CERRO PORTEÑO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Gerbault to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute Sebastian Käller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cãlin Damaschin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilhelm Galle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cãlin Damaschin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Käller in the 30th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Sebastian Käller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cãlin Damaschin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Cãlin Damaschin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Käller's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. When CERRO PORTEÑO's Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kind of Blue's goalie prevented a goal. Wilhelm Galle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Cãlin Damaschin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Käller, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis to make the kick off. If Sebastian Käller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sebastian Käller might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cãlin Damaschin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Käller ran back to his position shaking his head. Cãlin Damaschin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Käller in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to CERRO PORTEÑO getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Simon Gerbault hit a great ball. With a little luck, CERRO PORTEÑO's Cãlin Damaschin got control of the ball when Sebastian Käller tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cãlin Damaschin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Käller in the 65th minute of play. Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis scored 2-4 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilhelm Galle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cãlin Damaschin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Käller went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. Kind of Blue's Jonny Lagerberg was substituted for Anastasios Pallini. Kind of Blue's Tonhão Rodrigues quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Simon Gerbault, made in the 79th minute of the game. Cãlin Damaschin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Käller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Sebastian Käller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kind of Blue fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. Simon Gerbault kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Kind of Blue were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after CERRO PORTEÑO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joacim Hansson took the corner. 94 minutes into the match, Sebastian Käller dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cãlin Damaschin, 2-7. Kind of Blue's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
