The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Goicoechea got free with Fabrício Falcão in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute Club Atlético Atlanta were awarded a corner. Emil Chwalkiewicz went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Mugur Chiriac almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jurupeba FC's Fabrício Falcão did a great save. After having played for 20 minutes, Fadil Çarçani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jurupeba FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fadil Çarçani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Beto Breckenfeld cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Pankracy Glogowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mugur Chiriac came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fabrício Falcão could save by the left post. 27 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Evlogi Dzhumayski came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beto Breckenfeld was the one to do the kick off. Club Atlético Atlanta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Neymar Junior ran over to the corner to take the kick. Neymar Junior made a great header on Jurupeba FC's corner, it was just that Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski managed to reach the ball for a save. If Mugur Chiriac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
