Alysson Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Liberatore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wargön's Sören Tunberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Wargön from getting a goal against them. Igor Cavalera struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Sören Tunberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ogro F.C.. Alysson Rezende didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mikael Liberatore went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Mikael Liberatore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alysson Rezende read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Ogro F.C.'s Alysson Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Liberatore in the 31st minute of play. Bayan Baye fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alysson Rezende having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Wargön's Mikael Liberatore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alysson Rezende narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mikael Liberatore made a kick off. In the 67th minute Igor Cavalera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Tunberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Wargön's Mikael Liberatore nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alysson Rezende made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Wargön made a substitution. Ivar Siöberg replaced Mikael Liberatore. Ogro F.C. made a substitution. Mike Mangini replaced Dan Zimmermann. Wargön's Nils-Arne Nilsson was substituted for Iwan Czeberowski. Ogro F.C.'s Marco Minnemann was substituted for Igor Cavalera. Ivar Siöberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Alysson Rezende made a huge save. Marco Minnemann scored 1-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sören Tunberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute, Wargön's Bayan Baye dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Siöberg in the 95th minute of play forced Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Alysson Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sören Tunberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Van Halen in the 96th minute of the match.
