Alvi Boton's Afonso Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bayan Baye in the 5th minute of play. In the 8thth minute of the game Mikael Liberatore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alvi Boton's Afonso Veloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Wargön's Mikael Liberatore nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Afonso Veloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bayan Baye in the 13th minute of play forced Alvi Boton's goalkeeper Afonso Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Mikael Liberatore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wargön fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mikael Liberatore in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonso Veloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wargön were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Alvi Boton's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bayan Baye took the corner. Wargön's Bayan Baye was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Afonso Veloso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alvi Boton's Enrique Henry got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the game, Adolfo Cordarrol threw the ball into play from the sideline. Wargön's Zdzislaw Liermann quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikael Liberatore in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afonso Veloso saved Alvi Boton from getting behind. Afonso Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bayan Baye in the 28th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Mikael Liberatore made a precise shot to the right of Afonso Veloso. Alvi Boton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alvi Boton's goalkeeper Afonso Veloso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Mikael Liberatore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Afonso Veloso was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Afonso Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bayan Baye in the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Mikael Liberatore cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Alvi Boton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mikael Liberatore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Afonso Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Liberatore in the 46th minute of the match. The Wargön fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Wargön's Mikael Liberatore looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the game, Alejandro Firmin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alvi Boton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wargön the free kick. The supporters of Wargön booed when Alvi Boton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Firmin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivar Siöberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afonso Veloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Nils-Arne Nilsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Afonso Veloso however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils-Arne Nilsson got free with Afonso Veloso in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 97th minute Ivar Siöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 99th minute, Hermengildo Frances hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Wargön left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Alvi Boton.
