After the first half Nagyváradi AC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Eugeniusz Trzaskoma made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Cemal Metin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nagyváradi AC and the United.SF players grew even worse after the yellow card. United.SF's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. United.SF's Radostin Stanev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jedrzej Kasprzak in the 94th minute of play. Eugeniusz Trzaskoma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jos Van Hinnendael having to interfere.
