Leon Alvarez kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After 8 played minutes Železničar Pančevo got a freekick which was hit by Metodije Josifljević. In the 15th minute, Chorrillos FC's Rosendo Peruanton dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Savo Marković was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Raimundo Rodas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Raimundo Rodas really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Časlav Knežević hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the game, Chorrillos FC's Raimundo Rodas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Savo Marković made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Maximo Frasco hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Savo Marković was a little too slow when Rosendo Peruanton got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in Železničar Pančevo's zone, Rosendo Peruanton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Savo Marković came out of the goal and Rosendo Peruanton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Savo Marković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Rodas in the 37th minute of play. Časlav Knežević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Istvan Kowalski having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfonso Bilintx stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raimundo Rodas might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Savo Marković. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raimundo Rodas ran back to his position shaking his head. If Alfonso Bilintx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximo Frasco hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Alfonso Bilintx's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Savo Marković was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. If Jorge Vincente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Železničar Pančevo's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Peruanton came free, but Savo Marković reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Istvan Kowalski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tanasko Jelić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Železničar Pančevo defense, Jorge Vincente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Savo Marković. The Železničar Pančevo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Savo Marković should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Istvan Kowalski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Peruanton in the 71st minute of play forced Železničar Pančevo's goalkeeper Savo Marković to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Vincente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Savo Marković tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Chorrillos FC booed when Železničar Pančevo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gojko Markus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Istvan Kowalski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ljubinko Kruščić in the 82nd minute. Alfonso Bilintx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Savo Marković tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 88 minutes, Ljubiša Janićijević mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Železničar Pančevo and the Chorrillos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Železničar Pančevo getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ljubiša Janićijević hit a great ball. In the 88th minute of the match Raimundo Rodas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Savo Marković skillfully saved the ball. Ljubinko Kruščić's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Istvan Kowalski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 93 minutes into the match, Chorrillos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tanasko Jelić came free, but Istvan Kowalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Železničar Pančevo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chorrillos FC.
