After a rather tough play, Frank Football's Peter-Michael Rogowski got a free kick in the 2nd minute. A hard shot 4 in the game by Kjell Söderström from a close distance when the talented Nunez Iraitz managed to make a qualified save. Frank Football's players were relieved. After having played for 6 minutes, Gerd Pflug managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frank Football's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerd Pflug was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, BoomFunkMCs's Alvar Brodin got a free kick in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bert Wolf in the 12th minute of play forced BoomFunkMCs's goalkeeper Sten Månsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, BoomFunkMCs's Kjell Söderström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nunez Iraitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nunez Iraitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell Söderström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kjell Söderström in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nunez Iraitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nunez Iraitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greger Nässén in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute Frank Football were awarded a corner. Gerd Pflug went to the cornerflag to take it. Billy Buschenhagen kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Greger Nässén during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Frank Football booed when BoomFunkMCs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Greger Nässén didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Frank Football's Peter-Michael Rogowski got a free kick in the 31st minute. 35 minutes into the match, Kjell Söderström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nunez Iraitz. Frank Football's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kjell Söderström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Staffan Lundström during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to BoomFunkMCs getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Staffan Lundström hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Gerd Pflug got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kjell Söderström to strike the kick off in the second half. Gerd Pflug could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Sten Månsson made a huge save. Frank Football's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gerd Pflug in the 52nd minute. The supporters of BoomFunkMCs booed when Frank Football was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Stedefeldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 54 minutes, Stefan Stedefeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frank Football's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefan Stedefeldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kjell Söderström in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nunez Iraitz saved Frank Football from getting behind. 62 minutes into the match, BoomFunkMCs's goal looked a bit too open when Bert Wolf came free, but Sten Månsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, BoomFunkMCs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Staffan Lundström to maneuver through the defense. Stefan Stedefeldt in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sten Månsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bert Wolf in the 70th minute of play forced BoomFunkMCs's goalkeeper Sten Månsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of BoomFunkMCs booed when Frank Football was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter-Michael Rogowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kjell Söderström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Greger Nässén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes into the match, BoomFunkMCs's goalkeeper Sten Månsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerd Pflug. Sigvard Gudmundsson charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sigvard Gudmundsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Kjell Söderström came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the BoomFunkMCs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kjell Söderström couldn't finish the play. Sigvard Gudmundsson was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 93rd minute, Sigvard Gudmundsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Football's Gerd Pflug got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BoomFunkMCs fans cheered their team off the field, for while Frank Football had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
