Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Heini Nikolic kicked off to start the match. When Heini Nikolic came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the TIINDDRCCATS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heini Nikolic couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl Eplinius during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Karl Eplinius kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Savo Marković was a little too slow when Benni Zugowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 17th match minute, TIINDDRCCATS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinald Brux to maneuver through the defense. When Železničar Pančevo's Ljubinko Kruščić, in the 18th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Železničar Pančevo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tanasko Jelić in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erhard Lehn saved TIINDDRCCATS from getting behind. From a short distance, TIINDDRCCATS's Benni Zugowski, in the 22nd minute, tried to place the ball behind Savo Marković, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heini Nikolic in the 22nd minute of play forced Železničar Pančevo's goalkeeper Savo Marković to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benni Zugowski's late challenge caught a Železničar Pančevo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benni Zugowski helped the player get up and apologised. Benni Zugowski hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Tanasko Jelić had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erhard Lehn. TIINDDRCCATS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tanasko Jelić was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The throw-in from Sylvain Wölfer in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Železničar Pančevo's Gojko Markus. If Manfred Sahr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to TIINDDRCCATS getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Alan Mörner hit a great ball. The supporters of TIINDDRCCATS booed when Železničar Pančevo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanoje Čolaković didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alan Mörner fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TIINDDRCCATS's protests and gave Alan Mörner a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th match minute, TIINDDRCCATS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Mörner to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Železničar Pančevo's Savo Marković played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfred Sahr in the 52nd minute of play. Erhard Lehn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanasko Jelić in the 62nd minute of the match. TIINDDRCCATS's Alan Mörner suffered a concussion after 67 minutes and had to leave the field. Stanoje Čolaković was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Stanoje Čolaković hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Savo Marković stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heini Nikolic's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Železničar Pančevo's goal looked a bit too open when Heini Nikolic came free, but Savo Marković reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The attack was good, but when Heini Nikolic in the 72nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 79th minute, Ljubinko Kruščić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to TIINDDRCCATS getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Benni Zugowski hit a great ball. TIINDDRCCATS's Erhard Lehn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save TIINDDRCCATS from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute Heini Nikolic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Savo Marković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heini Nikolic struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Savo Marković didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TIINDDRCCATS. After 88 played minutes TIINDDRCCATS got a freekick which was hit by Karl Eplinius. Benni Zugowski took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Savo Marković. Savo Marković dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. TIINDDRCCATS fully deserved thier win.
