Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zé Paulo Cosme started the match with the kick off. Olívio da Rocha hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Zé Paulo Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Abellan having to interfere. Loramendi Echeto kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Sertanejo SS's Luciano Luz tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 16 minutes, Romulo Cambero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antequera Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romulo Cambero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romulo Cambero might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cícero de Salles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romulo Cambero ran back to his position shaking his head. Sertanejo SS's Alfredinho Cordeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Sertanejo SS's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Cambero came free, but Cícero de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Cordairo Ramos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Antequera Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sertanejo SS the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Zé Paulo Cosme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sertanejo SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Paulo Cosme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laureano Abellan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zé Paulo Cosme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlomagno Castellano in the 34th minute of play forced Sertanejo SS's goalkeeper Cícero de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romulo Cambero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cícero de Salles having to interfere. Romulo Cambero hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 39 played minutes Antequera Fc got a freekick which was hit by Dario Nunez. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlomagno Castellano to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Sertanejo SS's zone, Carlomagno Castellano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cícero de Salles came out of the goal and Carlomagno Castellano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sertanejo SS's Cícero de Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlomagno Castellano in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Romulo Cambero notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sertanejo SS's Cícero de Salles. Cícero de Salles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zé Paulo Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Abellan having to interfere. Laureano Abellan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo Cosme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredinho Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Romulo Camberos short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Cícero de Salles to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 68 minutes of play, Antequera Fc's Carlomagno Castellano made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cícero de Salles was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 72nd minute Carlomagno Castellano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cícero de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Sertanejo SS's goalkeeper Cícero de Salles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romulo Cambero. Antequera Fc's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Loramendi Echeto in the 77th minute. Sertanejo SS's Alfredinho Cordeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Romulo Cambero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 86 minutes on the clock, Raphael Proença commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 86th minute, one of Sertanejo SS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sertanejo SS. The referee gave Antequera Fc a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Loramendi Echeto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sertanejo SS's Cícero de Salles. 0-4. Carlomagno Castellano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cícero de Salles having to interfere. The Antequera Fc players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
