Železničar Pančevo's Savo Marković played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell Söderström in the 3rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Kjell Söderström put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Savo Marković. 9 minutes into the game, Kenny Björkkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BoomFunkMCs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Železničar Pančevo the free kick. A collision led to BoomFunkMCs getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Kenny Björkkvist hit a great ball. Sten Månsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ljubinko Kruščić in the 12th minute. Tanasko Jelić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Sten Månsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Železničar Pančevo's goalkeeper Savo Marković, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 18 minutes, Tanasko Jelić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Železničar Pančevo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tanasko Jelić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sten Månsson made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Ljubinko Kruščić sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute Železničar Pančevo were awarded a corner. Tanasko Jelić went to the cornerflag to take it. Sten Månsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ljubinko Kruščić in the 24th minute. Sten Månsson made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Ljubinko Kruščić sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th match minute, Železničar Pančevo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gojko Markus to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Kjell Söderström sped through Železničar Pančevo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Savo Marković. With a little luck, BoomFunkMCs's Sten Månsson got control of the ball when Ljubinko Kruščić tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ljubinko Kruščić might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sten Månsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ljubinko Kruščić ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind BoomFunkMCs's goalkeeper Sten Månsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by BoomFunkMCs's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tanasko Jelić was slow to take the kick. During this time Železničar Pančevo's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of BoomFunkMCs booed when Železničar Pančevo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tanasko Jelić didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, BoomFunkMCs's goalkeeper Sten Månsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tanasko Jelić. The Železničar Pančevo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BoomFunkMCs were winning 0-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tanasko Jelić was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Greger Nässén reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Savo Marković. The goal made the score 0-3. Tanasko Jelić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the match, BoomFunkMCs's goal looked a bit too open when Tanasko Jelić came free, but Sten Månsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Staffan Lundström kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. When Ljubinko Kruščić fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Železničar Pančevo's protests and gave Ljubinko Kruščić a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, Ljubinko Kruščić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tanasko Jelić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Månsson having to interfere. Kjell Söderström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Tanasko Jelić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sten Månsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gojko Markus, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Železničar Pančevo's Ljubinko Kruščić got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Gojko Markus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th match minute, BoomFunkMCs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Staffan Lundström to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 75 minutes, Gojko Markus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Železničar Pančevo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gojko Markus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sten Månsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tanasko Jelić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the game, Vojin Kašćelan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After a rather tough play, Železničar Pančevo's Gojko Markus got a free kick in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanasko Jelić in the 85th minute of play forced BoomFunkMCs's goalkeeper Sten Månsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tanasko Jelić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Månsson having to interfere. Gojko Markus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 89 played minutes Železničar Pančevo got a freekick which was hit by Gojko Markus. In the 92nd minute, Tanasko Jelić made a precise shot to the right of Sten Månsson. BoomFunkMCs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Although Železničar Pančevo had been in control for most of the match, BoomFunkMCs still came away with the win.
